I've had many friends ask about my blog and what type of antics our little family has been up to recently! I've neglected to update as our computer had a virus, and we had a short in the cord that charges our computer (which we had to order twice) but nonethe less, such is life and we are still here! I have decided to do my best to describe my Christmas break in the form of a song- as sung to the 12 days of Christmas-minus some repetitive portions:)
On the first day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
pictures taken of my precious 3!
On the second day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
crafts with our cousins and a yummy dinner with our family!
On the third day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
an outing with the kiddos and an hours wait for Southern Lights to see!
On the fourth day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
2 dentist appointments and a total of 5 cavities!
On the fifth day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
OUR EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY!! Love you, Nate <3
2 dentist appointments, Southern Lights to see, crafts with family and pictures taken of my precious 3!
On the sixth day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
a lunch date with my friends and a fun time painting pottery!
On the seventh day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
a visit to the doctor for my middle baby (strep-yuck!)
On the eighth day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
finished Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, cleaning and lots of laundry!
On the ninth day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
a special church service which takes place each year on Christmas Eve!
On the tenth day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
Christmas morning full of smiles-until the flat tire on the car did we see :/
On the eleventh day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
more laughter and more food as we celebrated with more family!
On the twelth day of Christmas Break, my true love gave to me;
A day full of rest as we got ready to go back to normalcy...
So that, my friends, is the first portion of Christmas Break at our house! We spent a quiet New Years Eve at home watching movies after going out to eat. And today was our first day back to school! Although a part of me would have liked a snow day, another part of me is happy to hold off on the snow and enjoy a longer summer break.
Pregnancy #4 continues to go well and just as McKenna and Asher chose Ian's name, we have chosen a name with the help of Ian! Nathan and I wrote down all of the names that we have been considering and had Ian pick one out of a box. We have decided to name baby boy #3- Robert Sawyer! He is a busy baby as he is becoming more and more active. At my most recent doctor's appointment (at 24 weeks) he was actually measuring at 28 weeks- the doctor measured twice just to make sure! This isn't necessarily a surprise as Asher is the only one that has been born on his due date-each of the others were born early (and all good sizes). We will continue to keep an eye on this as March gets closer and closer.
I think this catches us up for a bit! I hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Until next time!
